Visit Tuscaloosa is proud to partner with organizations like Mercedes-Benz U.S. International for the return of Tuscaloosa Oktoberfest and 5k.  All proceeds from the 5k, as well as a portion of proceeds from the festival will be donated to the American Cancer Society.

Event Parking

Festival goers will have many free parking options near the entrance of the festival.  Please consider parking in some of these areas:

  • Parking lot across the street from the entrance on Greensboro Ave. between Embassy Suites and Homewood Suites, which spills into the old Tuscaloosa News parking lot
  • River District Park and the Tuscaloosa Riverwalk, as well as the surrounding area
  • Temerson Square, which will be open once the 5k concludes
  • Downtown Tuscaloosa
  • Intermodal Parking Deck at the corner of 23rd Ave. and 7th Street, which is about a 4-5 block walk from the festival entrance
  • Overflow parking lot near the west side of the Tuscaloosa Amphitheater on the opposite side of the train trestle, which is about .4 of a mile.
