To kick off the festival, our favorite German band is back once again! From 10:15 am – 12:30 pm, Oompah-Calypse will join us in Tuscaloosa to perform a wide variety of traditional German music: polkas, waltzes, as well as other surprises, including show tunes, The Beatles, and audience participation favorites like the Chicken Dance!
At 1:15 pm, The Stone Feathers will take the stage. A Nashville/Tuscaloosa-based group with the kind of range that makes them the right call for any festival or occasion. With a guitarist who has toured with some of the biggest names in current Spotify top 40, including Whiskey Myers, and a frontman who has toured with Dwight Yoakam and had his songs recorded by major artists such as Steve Earle, they bring serious musical credibility and stage presence to every room they walk in. Country, Rock, Blues, Americana, Texas Country, 90s and 2000s hits — they do it all and they do it well. Years of combined experience playing stages in front of 5 people to 12,000 people, including touring with major acts, means they know how to read a room and deliver every single time. If you are looking for a band to take your party or event to the next level, book The Stone Feathers — while you can.
